The Who Announce U.S. Dates For Farewell Tour

TAMPA, FL (CelebrityAccess) — Iconic UK rock band The Who have announced the dates for the U.S. leg of their 50th anniversary and farewell tour

“The Who Hits 50!” tour will kick off its spring run April 15 in Tampa, FL and include 20 stops throughout the east before wrapping May 30 in Forest Hills, NY. The fall leg will launch September 14 in San Diego, CA and begin with west coast dates throughout the U.S. and across Canada before concluding November 4 in Philadelphia, PA.

For the North American dates, the tour will include special guests: 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

"Having Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, a great American rock band, support us on our North American dates will ensure concert-goers a full night of entertainment. I love her,” said Roger Daltrey.

“We've been very close friends with Joan Jett for a long time. She is the real deal. This will be a great night of rock and roll for everyone,” Pete Townshend added.
