Third Phase Of Upgrades Underway At Palace Of Auburn Hills

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The third phase of planned upgrades at The Palace of Auburn Hills is now underway, Palace Sports and Entertainment reports.

Renovations include the completion of a three-year building-wide suite remodeling effort, an overhaul of The Terrace Club – a public lounge space located on the east concourse, updates to The Palace Grill and Lounge areas, restroom upgrades and tunnel construction in Section 101 allowing for an additional direct access point to the arena level and nearby Courtside Club.

The current improvements complete a three-year improvement plan that included an updated West Atrium entrance, expanded Pistons locker room, newly developed entertainment complex and locker room area, a refreshed media work room and installation of an in-arena theatrical lighting system. Additional renovations included remodeling of the main concourse, Club West and the construction of Club 300 – a full-service open-air lounge with direct views of the playing court. Digital menu boards, fan-friendly WiFi capabilities and Twitter boards on the upper arena fascia all enhance the fan experience.

Since it first opened in 1998, the privately-funded Palace has maintained a reputation as one of the top arenas in North America and has recieved more than $117.5 million in upgrades and venue renovations. The current three-year improvement plan has been the building’s largest enhancement project since 2006 when the $30 millon-dollar, 65,000 square-foot Comcast Pavilion was completed. – Staff Writers
