NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Indie pop duo Twenty One Pilots has announced that their sophomore studio album, "Blurryface," is due to be released on May 19th to be followed by a world tour.
The critically acclaimed duo of Tyler Joseph (lead vocals, piano, and the band’s songwriter) and Josh Dun (drums) combine hip hop, indie rock and punk and scored a hit with their debut album "Vessel."
The tour kicks off with dates in the UK in May, followed by a North American leg in the fall, starting with a September 8 show in Washington, DC and hits major cities such as Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, the band’s hometown of Columbus, OH, and the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The group also has some key festival slots lined up for the summer, including main stage appearances at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Fuji Rock and Bunbury. – Staff Writers
