MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Young Jeezy, part of Wiz Khalifa's 'Under the Influence of Music' tour, has been arrested on charges of possessing an illegal firearm as a part of the investigation into a backstage shooting at a Wiz Khalifa concert on Friday.
According to the Los Angeles Times, The Georgia-based rapper, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, was one of five people arrested during the execution of a search warrant at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, California on Monday.
TMZ reported that the weapon involved was a rifle and that none of the arrested individuals was currently considered to be a suspect in the shooting. Jeezy is being held on $1 million bail. – Staff Writers
