MEXICO CITY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Latin America's biggest and brashest rock festival "Vive Latino" opened in Mexico City last Saturday, featuring performances by Mexican rock star Alex Lora and "El Tri", Argentine singer Gustavo Cerati, and Venezuelan ska band "Desorden Publico."
Fifty-thousand rockers cheered and danced at the Eighth Annual "Vive Latino" Rock Festival which drew 34 of the region's most popular bands.
Mexican rock legend Alex Lora and his band "El Tri" opened the event with hits like "Ado" and "Triste Cancion". Then, one of Latin America's most famous artists, Argentine singer Gustavo Cerati, a real favorite with the fans, brought the house down.
The event ended with Venezuelan ska band "Desorden Publico". Started in 1985, "Desorden Publico" is Latin America's longest-running ska band, well-known for singing in several different languages and their political lyrics.
