(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Officials at north London’s Wembley Stadium have announced the opening of the temporary Wembley Arena Pavilion in the lot behind the closed arena. The temporary arena-sized pavilion will host events for a year while the stadium undergoes a massive renovation.
The 10,000-seat, multi-million dollar project will host many of the same caliber acts that performed at the legendary venue, as well as merchandising areas, bars and restaurants. The shed is heated and fitted with electricity and plumbing.
The refurbishment is part of the overall development of the whole Wembley complex into an international leisure destination for London, which will also include new shops, hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes, a major multi screen cinema, offices and homes. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
