TOKYO, Japan (CelebrityAccess) — Reni, drummer for Stone Roses fractured two ribs, forcing the band to postpone several of their upcoming tour dates and disappointing their Japanese fans.
Two of the dates were shows in the arena in central Tokyo and are rescheduled for June 2nd and 3rd.
‘The Stone Roses are very sorry to have to cancel their two proposed concerts at the Budokan,’ says a spokesman from promoters Creative Man told Gigwise.
‘Reni has had an accidental fall and fractured two ribs, his doctor has told him to rest for at least a month. Unfortunately, this means that the band are unable to fulfil their planned performances in Japan,’ the spokesperson added.
The UK fans might be watching the bands tour dates now, but the band has yet to announce any rescheduled dates for their tour beginning in the UK on June 15th.
