(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Speculation has been growing in Europe recently regarding a possible full-fledged Pink Floyd reunion.
Roger Waters, in an interview with NME.com, admitted that he would be interested in the project, following their brief reunion this year for the Live8 concerts.
“I’d be very up for doing a lot more,” he explained. “It was such fun. We went in and did some rehearsals, and the moment we plugged in for the first rehearsal, it was like putting on an old shoe.”
Waters officially left the seminal rock band in the 1980s.
For now, however, Waters is concentrating on his new opera, “Ca Ira,” about the French Revolution.
“Music is music. One’s only responsibility as a musician or any kind of artist is to speak one’s truth and hopefully invoke some kind of emotional response in your audience,” Waters said of the project.
“So whether you’re painting on a palette that’s bass crums and electric guitars or a symphony orchestra and chorus and soloists, fundamentally it’s the same exercise.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
