WMG Shakes Up Executive Suite

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music Group announced a shakeup in their leadership team, naming Aaron Bay-Schuck as Co-Chairman and CEO, and Tom Corson as Co-Chairman & Chief Operating Officer.

Both will report to Max Lousada who, yesterday, began his new role as WMG’s CEO, Recorded Music, with Corson overseein gthe label’s operations and Bay-Schuck leading WBR’s creative direction.

WMG’s current Chairman & CEO Cameron Strang will step down from his post at the end of 2017.

Corson joins the WMG team from RCA Music Group, where he has been President & COO since 2011. Corson has worked at RCA Music Group since 2000, overseeing operations for J, Arista and RCA.

Bay-Schuck will join WBR from Interscope Geffen A&M (IGA) where, as President, A&R, he oversees A&R and creative development.

Warner also announced that they have elected three new directors to join their board, which will expand by two seats. Joining WMG’s board are Jon Platt, Max Lousada and Noreena Hertz.
