WASHINGTON D.C. (CelebrityAccess) — The lineup for the sixth annual Broccoli City Festival has been announced, with headliners Migos, Miguel and Cardi B leading the bill.
Set for April 28 at the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds in Washington, D.C., this year’s festival is the first since the Broccoli City, the independent non-profit festival producer behind the event, partnered with Live Nation Urban after it launched last May.
Other artists announced for the 2018 lineup include The 2018 Broccoli City lineup also includes Daniel Caesar, H.E.R., Nipsey Hussle, Rich The Kid, Grits & Biscuits, Lightshow, Hoodcelebrity, and more.
First held in 2013 as a way to draw attention for Earth Day, the festival is part of Broccoli City’s broader effort to drive urban community engagement and social consciousness. The festival will be preceded by Broccoli City Week, a seven-day ‘incubator’ that includes a conference, a 5k City Run, an all-night art pop-up event, and other events.
“We realize how important it is to keep this event alive,” festival co-founder Brandon McEachern in a statement. “We know people who may never make it to a Coachella, or any of the mainstream festivals. But they will always have Broccoli City. We do this for the community first.”
