INDIANAPOLIS (CelebrityAccess) Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home to the Indiana Pacers, will have a new name next year but what it will be ain’t exactly clear.
The Carmel-based CNO Financial Group has had naming rights to the arena since it opened as Conseco Fieldhouse in 1999 under a $40 million, 20-year contract, with Bankers Life one of CNO’s business units. The name has been on the building since 2011.
However, the Pacers and CNO Financial Group announced today that the company will not renew its naming rights agreement come June 30, 2019, according to several media outlets.
The Pacers said they’ll start working on lining up a new contract.
