LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — On Labor Day Weekend, Los Angeles will host the first annual Tailgate Fest, an event aimed at fusing the bells and whistles of a modern music festival with the bonhomie of parking lot tailgate sessions.
Taking place at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 1st, the Tailgate Fest boasts a lineup that includes headliner Toby Keith along with Randy Houser, Eric Paslay, Nelly, Joe Nichols, David Nail, Jana Kramer, and Parmalee
Fans will be able to bring their own grills, coolers, games, and listen to the music on offer while enjoying the show from the tailgates of their own trucks.
Besides the Tailgate and music festival, the event will also offer the Tailgate Cornhole World Championships where tailgate groups can compete against each other for prizes and the Jacked Up Truck Competition where the “Best in Show” truck of the day winner will take home a brand new geared-up truck.
The festival will also feature a Two-Step Honky Tonk and a dunk tank if the Cornhole Competition isn’t corny enough to suit. And if you’re not into cooking your own food, the festival will also offer a range of food and beverage options from local restaurants and breweries.
General admission tickets will set you back $109, while VIP tickets can be as expensive as $999 for the deluxe edition, which includes access to a terrace viewing section, pit, and pool access, admission to the VIP Forum club and parking.
