OSLO, NW (CelebrityAccess) – Sony Music announced this week that is will be funding the launch of a new management company, Popular Demand, which will be headquartered out of Oslo, Norway.
Aslak Klever, former Head of Nordics for Caroline International (Universal Music Group’s label services division) will head the firm, which is set to launch on October 1st.
Klever comes to the position having already signed Morgan Sulele (pictured) and Kamferdrops who both secured #1s on the Norwegian and Swedish singles charts respectively.
Popular Demand Management will represent both Morgan Sulele and Kamferdrops as well as artist/songwriter Katastrofe/Petter Kristiansen and Norwegian pop-rap duo Erik & Kriss among other signings.
