LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Caesars Entertainment is partnering with Comedian and light-night television host Jimmy Kimmel to open a branded comedy club in las Vegas next spring.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas will host performances by comedians ranging from up-and-coming talent to household names curated by Kimmel.
According to Caesars, the 8,000-square foot venue will feature an expandable showroom with a capacity of up to 300. The club will be open seven nights a week, with a bar open daily and shows offered nightly.
Kimmel’s new joint will join the list of comedy clubs already situated in Las Vegas, including an outlet of the noted New York club Comedy Cellar.
“Building a club like this in my hometown is a dream come true,” said Kimmel, who grew up in Las Vegas. “I’ve done extensive research, consulting with veteran comics to create the ideal venue for comedians and comedy lovers,” Kimmel said in a press statement announcing his plans for the club.
“My aim is to capture the spirit of classic Vegas with late night shows, surprise guests, live music, memorabilia from my career and food that will rival the finest restaurants in town. Every comic who plays this club will get first-class treatment. I am obsessing over every detail to make this the most comedy-friendly club in the world,” Kimmel added.
Jimmy Kimmel currently serves as the host and executive director of the long-running late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live, which is now in its 16th season on ABC.
