LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Demi Lovato is slowly returning to the public eye after a near death experience with an overdose in July.
According to TMZ, Lovato, who finished her stint in rehab, has been splitting her time between a halfway house and a private residence in Los Angeles.
Per TMZ, Lovato spends three days a week at the halfway house, where she can receive support from counselors and other people in recovery, while at the same time, experiencing a “normal” life again.
Lovato also has a full time “sober coach” and attends regular AA meetings, TMZ said.
In July, Lovato was rushed to the hospital after she overdosed on opiates laced with the potent drug fentanyl. She was released after a 10-day stint in the hospital and then entered a 90-day rehab program.
On Tuesday, she also returned to social media for the first time in months, Instagramming an image of herself casting a ballot and calling on her fans to do the same.
