(CelebrityAccess) – Universal Music India has appointed Shantanu Gangane as the Vice President, Marketing India & South Asia.
Gangane, who comes to Universal from his previous post as Head of Marketing for Viu India, will be responsible for the growth of international and domestic content uptake while closely working with brands and partners.
With more than 15 years of advertising and marketing experience under his belt, Gangane has previously worked for reputed brands including MTV, Nickelodeon, Radio City, FCB Ulka and Times Network.
He will report to Senior Vice President, Vinit Thakkar.
Commenting on the appointment, Thakkar said: “We are at a very interesting time in the music business which is being driven by creativity and innovations at all levels. Shantanu will be a great addition to the management team at Universal Music India & South Asia with his diverse experience across media and entertainment businesses and his expertise across functions of Marketing & PR.”
