FOLEY, Al. (CelebrityAccess) – Legends in Concert, which is best known for producing tribute shows in Las Vegas, announced a new residency and new theater at OWA resort on the Gulf Coast in Foley, Alabama.

The 430-seat will be located in OWA, immediately adjacent to TownePlace Suites by Marriott and is set to debut in the summer of 2019.

Legends in Concert debuted in Las Vegas in 1983 and has since produced and presented an evolving roster of tribute acts, covering artists ranging from Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson. The artists perform in their own voice, with backing from a house band with elaborate theatrical staging and costumes.

With the opening of the theater in OWA, Legends in Concert will debut a new tribute show to the venue in summer 2019.

“Building on our show’s three and a half decades of success, we are thrilled to bring the legendary production to another fast-growing, family-friendly destination, while also expanding the powerful long term multi-year agreement with the Poarch Band of Creek Indians,” said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer of On Stage Enterprises, producers of Legends.

Legends also announced plans for a new residency in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Las Vegas, where they will be situated in the Legends in Concert Theater. The show will feature a cast of tribute artists portraying Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, and Frank Sinatra, among others.
