LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Eric Holder, 29, the aspiring rapper accused of fatally shooting Nipsey Hussle in front of Hussle’s Los Angeles store Sunday, pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
He was ordered held on $5 million during a brief court appearance today.
Hussle, known for his community activism as well as his rapping, was shot in front of his shop on Sunday, as were two other men. Police allege Holder got into a dispute with Hussle earlier in the day. Video from a surveillance camera shows a gunman walks up to Hussle and the other men, opens fire and Hussle falls to the ground as the two others flee. It also appears that the gunman kicks Hussle in the head before he flees in a waiting car.
Police believe Holder is part of a gang but the shooting was unrelated. He was apprehended after a two-day manhunt when someone told authorities that a man fitting the description of Holder was walking down Artesia Boulevard.
