“Having been here for over 25 years, I’ve always felt, and I really feel today, that Honda Center is the perfect place for an event like we’re talking about with the Real Street Festival,” Honda Center President and CEO Tim Ryan told the Orange County Register in a recent interview.
“Take a look at where we’re located in Orange County, surrounded by all the major freeways and across from a transportation center. That with the fact that this event is going to take place in August, to be able to have a venue like Honda Center sitting in the middle of the festival that’s going to allow fans that are probably going to be attending the event in excess of 10 hours, an air-conditioned place to eat, drink, relax, use real restrooms and experience and enjoy some of the entertainment and the surprises that will be taking place on the arena floor … that’s a unique experience,” he added.
