LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Six weeks after The Rolling Stones postponed their North American stadium tour because of Mick Jagger’s heart surgery, the band has announced its makeup dates, kicking the tour off at Chicago’s Soldier Field June 21-25.

The dates roll through Aug. 31, where the band wraps the trek at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. All tickets from the original shows will be honored on the new dates.

Fans feared that the tour would be rolled back to 2020 but were likely relieved by a video Jagger posted yesterday, showing him practicing his signature moves to the tone of “Techno Fan” by the Wombats. There was no accompanying message but it was obvious that it was posted to tease today’s announcement.

Fans unable to attend the new dates can access their Ticketmaster accounts for full refunds.

“We are delighted to announce the new US and Canada tour dates today! All of the cities from the previously postponed shows are locked in, starting at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 21st and including a brand new date in New Orleans!” the band posted on Facebook. “Tickets sold for the original date will be honoured – fans DO NOT need to exchange their tickets. Those who cannot attend the re-scheduled date can refund their tickets by accessing their Ticketmaster account. For transferred tickets, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets, once they have been transferred back.

“You can contact Ticketmaster with any queries here: https://www.ticketmaster.com/h/contact-form.html

“Tickets for New Orleans will go on general sale Friday May 31, at 10am (local time). The pre-sale for the Rolling Stones mailing list will run from 10am on Wednesday May 29 to 10pm on Thursday May 30 (local time).

“We apologise again for any inconvenience the re-scheduling of these dates may have caused you and hope to see you at a show very soon!
