NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Lukas Nelson and his band Promise of the Real teamed up with Lukas’s brother Micah to perform the band’s latest hit “Bad Case” on Monday night’s Late Night With Stephen Colbert.
The country rock hit, which is redolent with the cloying aroma of the Traveling Wilburys, is fresh from Lukas’s latest album “Turn Off The News (Build a Garden)” which dropped on June 14th via Concord.
The Nelson brothers are descended from musical royalty and are the sons of outlaw country music legend Willie Nelson.
Lukas and Promise of the Real are slated to open select dates, on the Rolling Stones upcoming No Filter tour when it kicks off later this week, including the band’s Metlife Stadium show on August 5th.
As well, they are on the road with their own tour, with upcoming dates at Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 19th, followed by a series of dates in the Uk before they return stateside in time for their scheduled performance at the Newport Folk Festival in July.
