LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Adult Swim, the adult-oriented cartoon network announced its bringing its Adult Swim Festival back for a second year in 2019, with headliners Lil Nas X, Captain Murphy (AKA Flying Lotus), and Vince Staples.
Set for November 15 & 16 at the Banc of California Stadium, the festival will also feature performances by Jamie XX, Young Thug, The Eric Andre Show Live, and Dethklok (the band from the animated Adult Swim series “Metalocalypse”) who will be performing for the first time in five years.
The lineup announcement also includes rap icons The Geto Boys, who will be returning to the stage for the first time since the death of longtime member Bushwick Bill in May.
The festival will also feature a 360-degree screening of a preview of the hit animated series “Rick & Morty” which is returning to Adult Swim for its 4th season later this year.
Other events at the festival based on Adult Swim IP, including Robot Chicken’s intergalactic power summit and a panel discussion with “Samurai Jack” creator Genndy Tartakovsky.
The announced daily lineup for the fest, with additional artists expected to be announced.
