LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — London’s Wembley Stadium reported that it’s in the midst of a record-breaking concert season, closing out the run with a performance by The Who.

Over a span of five weeks, the stadium hosted 14 concerts that saw 38 acts take to the stage, with 900,000 fans in attendance across all of the events.

The concerts kicked off at the start of June with a pair of performances by K-Pop icons BTS, who performed a pair of shows at Wembley as part of their Love Yourself World Tour’.

The following weekend, Wembley Stadium hosted the Capital Summertime Ball with 19 different acts performing, including Calvin Harris, Maroon 5, Jess Glynne and Rita Ora.

As well, the Spice Girls, who just wrapped the UK leg of their reunion tour, performed three shows at the Wembley, with an aggregate attendance of approximately 240,000.

Other artists who performed at Wembley this summer included Fleetwood Mac, who did two nights, as well as Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, and the Eagles, who performed on the same weekend.

P!nk also performed, followed by a July 6th performance by The Who.

“It’s been another incredible summer of music at Wembley Stadium. We are privileged to have hosted such a diverse set of artists and to have welcome thousands of fans into the national stadium. We must also thank the stadium team who have worked tirelessly to adapt the venue to suit varying needs. We look forward to another exciting summer of music next year,” said James Taylor, Wembley’s Senior Commercial Manager for concerts.
