AUSTRALIA (CelebrityAccess) – Chugg Music has announced that it has signed Gold Coast-based Country Rock artist Casey Barnes to its growing management and recording roster.
Barnes’ current album The Good Life debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Album Chart and peaked at #2 on the ARIA Country Album Chart, with radio embracing a number of tracks including, “The Way We Ride,” “Be Mine,” and his current single, “Better Days.” Barnes’ recordings have generated 4.37 million streams to date across all platforms.
Commenting on the deal, Barnes said: “The last couple of years have been a time incredible of growth for me personally and professionally. I dared to approach Michael Chugg when I played CMC Rocks and was stunned to find that he knew my music.”
Chugg added: “We can’t wait to release the brand-new recordings that Casey has coming up, starting in September. We’re assembling a world class team to work with Casey, and we’ve been getting great feedback already from Australia and the U.S. about what the music could achieve with Australian and international audiences.”
Chugg Music’s internationally successful roster currently includes, Sheppard, Lime Cordiale, Avalanche City and The Griswolds.
Additionally, Barnes has also joined Select Music for live representation.

Frank Varrasso has been tapped to take the new music to radio next month. In the US, Mark Roeder of William Morris Agency (WME) will present Casey Barnes to promoters. Music distribution will be via MGM.
