(CelebrityAccess) — Experimental rock pioneers Tool announced plans for a North American tour which will hit the road this fall.
The six-week trek kicks off on Oct. 13 at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, with dates scheduled through late November when the tour is scheduled to conclude at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 25th.
Industrial rock band Killing Joke has been announced as support for the tour.
The tour, the band’s first since their 2016 tour with Primus and 3Teeth, is in support of “Fear Inoculum”, their fifth studio album and first new LP since 2006’s “10,000 Days.”
Earlier this month, Tool released their entire back catalog, including Opiate, Undertow, Ænima, Lateralus and 10,000, via music streaming services and quickly racked up in excess of 20 million streams in the subsequent 48 hours, resulting in Tool’s albums all re-entering the Billboard 200, taking four of the top five spots on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart, and occupying 15 (of 25) spots on Billboard’s Rock Digital Song Sales chart.
Tickets for the tour go on-sale Sept. 6 at 10 am local time, with a limited number of tickets to be made will be available to Tool fan club members on Sept. 4.
