NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The long-running late-night comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live” has added three brand new featured players to its cast for the upcoming 45th season – Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis, and Bowen Yang.
Both Chloe Fineman and Shane Gillis were recently recognized as New Faces at the 2019 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal earlier this year, and Fineman also honed her comedic chops as a regular performing with the comedy troupe The Groundlings.
Bowen Yang joined “SNL” as a staff writer last season and he also serves as the co-host of the “Las Culturistas” podcast.
The announcement of the three new cast members comes as popular longtime cast member Leslie Jones announced her exit from the SNL cast which she joined in 2014.
The 45th season of SNL will debut on Sept. 28 with host Woody Harrelson and musical guest Billie Eilish.
“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
