(CelebrityAccess) — Concert promoters Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment and T Presents announced they have formed a strategic alliance aimed at bringing more shows to their respective markets.
As part of the deal, T Presents founder Toffer Christensen will join JGEE and will collaborate in booking the company’s venues including the Canopy Club & Blackbird in Urbana, Kenny’s and the Riverfront in Peoria, and the Rust Belt in the Quad Cities.
As well, T Presents will continue to promote shows in markets across the U.S. in partnership with JGEE.
“Joining up with JGEE is a great fit for my company,” says Toffer Christensen. “It provides a great marketing and backend infrastructure so that I can concentrate more time on buying shows and less time on the other intricacies of running a company.”

By taking a leading roll with our buying team, I am confident we can deliver more shows to the markets we currently serve, and position ourselves for expansion into other markets. JGEE, which was founded in 1971, is focused on Central Illinois and the upper Midwest where they have presented shows by artists such as The Eagles, Elton John, Metallica, Bob Dylan, and Aerosmith. JGEE also stages multiple festivals in the region, including The Summer Camp Music Festival, Peoria Blues and Heritage Music Festival.
New York-based T Presents books and promotes over 100 club and theater shows annually across the U.S. and Canada, and is partnered in producing Camp John Waters.
