NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – Premiere virtual reality music platform MelodyVR has announced that it has extended its deal with ABC’s Good Morning America to bring fans up close and personal with some of country music’s biggest stars ahead of the 2019 CMA Awards.

During the broadcast, which is slated to air live from Nashville’s iconic Wildhorse Saloon next Wednesday (Nov. 13), MelodyVR users will have access to a unique 360-degree virtual reality experience that includes performances from Luke Combs, Maddie & Tae, Trisha Yearwood and Trace Adkins. By using the MelodyVR app, fans will also be able to choose from a variety of viewing positions and access backstage footage.

“It’s great to be right at the heart of the action during the biggest day in the country music calendar, and it’s a privilege to allow fans around the world to feel as though they’re right here in Nashville, as award excitement builds,” said Anthony Matchett, CEO of MelodyVR.

“I don’t know if you want me in your living room, but if you do, we made that happen,” added Combs. “It’s so cool that people around the world can get up close to the show in Nashville with MelodyVR and Good Morning America. CMA Awards day will be so exciting for me after one hell of a year, and being able to share that moment with my fans in VR is real special.”

The event follows MelodyVR’s broadcast of the show’s Summer Concert Series, which included musical performances by Marshmello and Kane Brown.
