NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Cars singer Ric Ocasek cut his estranged supermodel wife Paulina Porzikova out of his will before his death, according to public documents obtained by PageSix.com.
Ocasek, who was 75 at the time of his passing, reportedly claimed he ‘made no provision’ for 54-year-old Porzikova because she had ‘abandoned’ him.
Ocasek and Porzikova met on the set of The Cars music video for their 1984 hit “Drive.” The two were married in 1989, and share sons Oliver, 21 and Jonathan, 25, however, were in the midst of divorcing.
A filing listed with Ocasek’s will reportedly indicates that his assets include $5 million in “copyrights,” $100,000 in “tangible personal property,” and $15,000 in cash. No word on the exact break down of the “copyrights” assets.
Ocasek died in September of this year from complications associated with hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease as well as pulmonary emphysema.
