BOSTON (CelebrityAccess) – Madonna has once again canceled a handful of dates on her Madame X tour, this time citing doctor’s orders.
The pop icon announced via social media Wednesday (Nov. 27) that she would not be able to perform her three upcoming Boston shows originally slated for Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. at Boston Center Wang Theatre, due to “overwhelming” pain.
Earlier this year, production delays forced Madge to postpone the opening dates of the tour, while several dates including the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York and The Wiltern in Los Angeles were canceled due to injury.
According to tour promoter Live Nation, the Boston dates will not be rescheduled, however, refunds will be automatically issued to the credit card with which the tickets were purchased.

Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me but the pain I’m in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctors orders so i can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame ❌ journey with all of you. #madamextheatre
