LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Kobalt has today (Dec. 10) announced an exclusive worldwide deal with international media collective and record label, 88Rising.
The partnership includes creative, sync and world rights excluding China as well as catalog and futures for the label’s growing roster.
Founded by Sean Miyashiro in 2015 and based in New York City, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, 88rising is at the forefront of “catapulting Asian culture into new dimensions.” Best known as the team behind Internet-breaking sensations such as Joji, Rich Brian, Higher Brothers NIKI and Keith Ape, 88rising have quickly escalated to selling out world tours, hosting festivals and working with today’s biggest stars.
