(CelebrityAccess) — Five Finger Death Punch has been forced to put their tour on hold after their guitarist Jason Hook underwent emergency surgery to remove his gall bladder.
Fortunately, the procedure was successful but resulted in the postponement of the final three shows of the band’s current tour, including performances in Duluth, Omaha and Des Moines, which the band has promised to return to “very soon.”
“Once we have an update on new dates to return, we will post the information on our website and social media channels. Please hold on to your tickets in the meantime. Jason very much appreciates all the well wishes and, rest assured, we will see you back out on the road very soon.” the band said in a statement.
Five Finger Death Punch was in the final stages of a North American arena run with special guests Three Days Grace, Bad Wolves and Fire From the Gods when Hook fell ill.
The band is slated to return to the road early next year for a string of European dates, starting with a January 14th show at the Kyiv Sports Palace in Ukraine. U.S. dates start on April 8th with a performance at BB&T Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
