(VIP-NEWS) — Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 sold out in a record-breaking 35 minutes, organizers confirmed.
Thousands of eager fans joined an online queue at 9:00 GMT, hoping to secure a spot at the iconic event, but by 9:35 GMT, all tickets had been snapped up. The festival, held at Worthy Farm in Somerset, will take place from 25 to 29 June 2025, before taking a planned break in 2026 to allow the farmland to recover.
Tickets for the 2025 edition were priced at £373.50, with an additional £5 booking fee, marking an £18.50 increase from the 2024 prices.
In a statement on X, Glastonbury organizers announced:
“Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now Sold Out. Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply. There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025.”
The festival’s immense popularity led organizers to implement an automatic queueing system, requiring hopeful attendees to be online before the sale started and have a valid registration number ready.
Glastonbury is returning in 2025 before taking a year off in 2026.
