LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Cara Donatto has been named Executive Vice President (EVP) of Media Strategy for Atlantic Music Group (AMG), marking her return to the company. Based in Los Angeles, she will now oversee publicity and communications strategy for the label, working with AMG’s diverse roster of artists.
Donatto previously served as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Publicity at Atlantic before leaving in 2019 for Interscope Geffen A&M, where she was EVP and head of Media Strategy and Communications. During her five-year tenure at Interscope, she handled media strategy for high-profile artists like Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Olivia Rodrigo. She also managed the label’s Grammy and Oscar campaign strategies.
Her return to Atlantic is part of several recent leadership changes since Elliot Grainge became CEO on October 1. Last month, Brady Bedard was appointed EVP of Promotion, and Alana Dolgin was named President of Digital Marketing. Donatto brings with her a wealth of experience, having helped develop careers of legends such as Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe during her previous time at Atlantic.
