LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Recently filed financial accounts reveal that Robert Plant received £7 million in dividend payments from royalties during the financial year ending March 31, 2024, according to a story that was first reported by LedZepNews.
The payments, which were issued through two UK-based music publishing companies, Sons Of Einion, which paid £4 million in dividends in 2024, and Trolcharm, which contributed £3 million. 2024 marks the first time either company has issued dividends, based on their previous filings, per LedZepNews.
While Plant was not specifically listed as the recipient of the payouts, which were made to the directors of the two companies, which include Plant, along with his children Logan Plant, Jesse Lee Plant, and Carmen Jones, are the directors of record for both ventures, according to the UK’s Company House.
Sons Of Einion of came to the fore during the 2016 lawsuit over royalties from the iconic Led Zep hit “Stairway To Heavan” and was identified at the time as a pass-through entity for royalties, LedZepNews reported.
Per LedZepNews, Trolcharm appears to play a similar role in handling royalties from Led Zeppelin’s catalog and evidence presented in the 2016 trial also indicated royalties were being directed to the company, highlighting its role in managing Plant’s income from the band’s repertoire.
