EDMONTON, AB (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – The Canadian Country Music Association has announced their the nominees for the 2010 CCMA awards, which are set to take place on September 12, at Rexall Place in Edmonton.
Gord Bamford leads the charge this year with six nomiations, covering every category in which he was eligible, including Fan's Choice.
Tied with 5 nods apiece are last year’s Single of the Year winner Dean Brody, last year's Group of the Year winner Doc Walker, six-time Roots Artist of the Year winner Corb Lund and 2009's Top Selling Canadian Album winner, Johnny Reid.
Also garnering multiple nominations were country stars Victoria Banks, George Canyon, Terri Clark, Jessie Farrell, The Higgins and One More Girl.
The show will be carried on both the CBC and CMT.
