LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Aladdin Resort & Casino has begun construction on a new 1,500-seat theater, the first major renovation to the property since it was taken over by a Planet Hollywood-led investment group last fall.
The building will be financed by Clear Channel Entertainment, which will partner with the hotel on whatever show is eventually announced for the facility.
Construction will take place over eight months, as the old theater, a 600-seat venue that had been the residence of magician Steve Wyrick, will be demolished beforehand.
The new formed CCE Productions will develop, program and manage the theater and showrooms at the resort and casino. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
