TUPELO, MI (CelebrityAccess) — After a 65-year-run, the Live On Stage Tupelo has ended its summer concert series.
According to the Daily Journal, the Tupelo Concert Association, who had produced the event previously, closed last year, passing the reigns of the summer concert series to Nashville-based Live on Stag, but after just one year, they have pulled out as well.
In their inaugural season, Live on Stage Tupelo produced concerts that included The Diamonds, Billy Dean and Mike Farris. As well, they relocated the concert series from the Civic Auditorium to the Link Centre.
Both groups declined to comment to the Daily Journal about the cessation of shows, with Live On Stage noting via email that “the concert association in Tupelo is non-existent this year, therefore no concerts are scheduled there for the upcoming season.” – Staff Writers
