TOKYO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Heavy metalers Anthrax have announced that they are postponing their upcoming Asia leg of their current tour due to the illness of family member of one of the band.
Indonesian promoter Blade's head of marketing Jimmy Reagan Fernandes told Indonesian news site Temco.co that "The concert is not canceled but is being rescheduled for March 31. Drummer, Charlie Benante, can't play the gig because a member of his family is sick."
Anthrax's guitarist Scott Ian later tweeted that the shows planned for Japan have also been pushed back. This marks the second time on their current tour that Anthrax has postponed a visit to Japan. The group was slated to launch their current tour with a May 5th gig in Tokyo.
