Ashley Page Wins Manager Of The Year In New Zealand 2015 Music Managers Awards


AUCKLAND, NZ (CelebrityAccess) — The MMF New Zealand, Recorded Music New Zealand, APRA AMCOS, Neuw Denim and the New Zealand Music Commission have announced the winners for the 2015 Music Managers Awards.

First time winner Ashley Page took home the ‘Manager of the Year’ award for his work with the artists Broods, Joel Little, and Jarryd James,

‘Breakthrough Manager of the Year’ was awarded to duo Nick Dwyer and Dick Johnson for their work in raising the profile of their dance music project Weird Together.

Scott Maclachlan won the the ‘International Achievement’ award, for his role in managing Lorde and Sol3 Mio.

The ‘Industry Champion’ for 2015 was for the first time open to individuals and so was awarded to Brendan Smyth, music manager for NZ On Air.

The awards were presented at a ceremony at The Tuning Fork in Auckland on May 15th.

Industry Champion: Brendan Smyth
