A statement published by the festival said that at least eight people had been hospitalized following the strike, and that one fan was successfully resuscitated at the scene by emergency responders.
Police spokesman Lars Brummer told The Associated Press that organizers had warned festival-goers to seek shelter as a dangerous storm moved over the area. Brummer added that performances at the festival had resumed.
