LONDON (VIP-NEWS) — Beth Orton has signed a worldwide, exclusive co-publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis US which now represents her entire 20 year catalog of songs.
The Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter is known for her introspective lyrics and unique pairing of folk and electronica.
The British artist first emerged on the music scene in the mid-`90s after a series of collaborations with William Orbit and the Chemical Brothers. Orton won a devoted following with the albums Trailer Park, which featured the single `She Cries Your Name,` in 1996, and 1999`s Central Reservation, which led to a Brit Award for Best Female Artist. The well-received 2012 release Sugaring Season was her first album in six years. Orton`s work has continued to reach new audiences with high-profile syncs on shows such as Grey`s Anatomy.
