Bicknell Rumored To Pass On WMA Offer

BARBADOS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ever with our ears keenly attuned to the rumor mill, CelebrityAccess has learned from a well-placed source that previous reports suggesting that Ed Bicknell, who had been expected to join The William Morris Agency's newly revamped London office may have been premature. According to our source, Bicknell has declined the offer tendered by WMA.

Bicknell, sometimes referred to as "The Silver Fox" is a legendary figure in the London music scene, working variously as both an agent and a manager with artists such as Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, Elton John & The Ramones to name a few. Bicknell has been quoted as saying "I would estimate that the artists I have represented in a management capacity have sold a combined total of over 120 million albums."

Of late, Bicknell has been heading up his own management firm, Damage Management Limited and it seems as if he is content to remain there. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
