(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — San Francisco hosted an open house at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on March 16th, drawing investors that are interested in the city’s request for proposals for a makeover of the historic venue.
The tour, led by Conventions Facilities Department director John Noguchi, drew representatives from a number of interested organizations, including AEG, Bill Graham Presents, Global Spectrum, Another Planet Entertainment, McCall Associates, Paul Roberts and Partners Architects and Nederlander.
The venue has hosted legends such as Bette Midler, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Madonna, Santana, Jerry Garcia, John Lee Hooker and Metallica throughout its storied past, and is in great need of a renovation.
