BOSTON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Boston club Bill's Bar has reportedly shuttered for good. The club has been at its 9 Landsdowne St. since 1986 and had developed a reputation as a popular venue for Indie Rock, Hardcore, Punk, and Pop Rock in Beantown, The Boston Examiner opened.
The club was also known for hosting 18+ events such as Campus on Thursday night that regularly filled the venue to capacity.
Details about the club's closure are sketchy at best but the combination of a challenging economic climate coupled with the recent arrival of the House of Blues on the same street may have something to do with it.
A representative from the venue was unavailable for comment. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
