LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A woman has filed a lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas, seeking unspecified damages for injuries she claims she sustained while working backstage at one of their gigs.
According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, Winter Sumpter has filed suit against the BEP, claiming that during a rehearsal for a 2007 Burbank California gig she was injured after falling through a flight of stairs where one of the "treads became detached."
As a result of this, Sumpter claims she suffered "severe and permanent injuries" and has been left to endure "mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."
