NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Proving their position at the forefront of the modern entertainment industry once again, Central Entertainment Group has announced that Managing Director Ricky Greenstein will be taking on a new role with MTV’s newest reality show, “Taquita and Kaui.”
Greenstein will serve as the real life manager of two “Making the Band” finalists as they work and live in Las Vegas, giving viewers an inside look at how the company develops its artists.
On “Taquita and Kaui,” which premieres on MTV on April 2nd, viewers will be able to witness the daily grind, adventures and not-so-glamorous behind-the-scenes making of pop cultural personalities.
“With shows such as these and other reality TV,” Greenstein says, “corporate America is becoming increasingly aware of the new advertising and sponsorship opportunities that are now available.”
He continues, “It’s a natural progression for us as a company. It’s now becoming a case of art imitating life. We’re changing the mold of what the entertainment industry thinks a talent/marketing agency does, one minute I’m booking talent, getting sponsorships, the next I’m being asked to be on camera.
“By adapting to the changing playing field that is today’s entertainment business, we have seen our business in the personal appearance arena explode as advertisers are beginning to realize the exposure they garner by aligning their products and services with new celebrities.” He adds, “Our clients are getting booked all over the country – from night club appearances, mall openings to Sweet 16’s and corporate parties, everyone wants to hang out with celebrities, and these new stars are extremely accessible.”
According to Greenstein, the future looks extremely bright for these newly minted reality stars. “It’s a case of creating the opportunities, being small enough to make quick decisions and figuring out the trends before they happen, that’s the new role of a talent agency in today’s music scene and that exactly what CEG does.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
