Nashville-based Cozy Records will open a West Coast branch in Chino, CA on September 1. This is a major move for the two-year-old company, which was originally formed as a specialty and amusement markets record label in 2003.The company now has a catalogue of over 50 titles to its credit, including the best-selling Bluegrass Hymns and Smoky Mountain Christmas.
Cozy Records recently announced the signing of its first country artist to the label. East Tennessee native Craig Sellers has a new release entitled Something Worth Fighting For.
"It just made good business sense to establish an additional branch on the West Coast with ongoing business activities calling for regular and frequent trips to the Los Angeles area," said label President Kenny Holloway. "I am very excited about the growth of the label."
