SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Death Cab for Cutie is about to hit the road with a number one pop album to boot this week. The indie rockers beat out Sinatra’s 'Nothing But the Best' with the number one selling album and on their sophomore attempt ‘Narrow Stairs”. Their first album to punch the charts lasted for 50 weeks but hit it's top note at number 4. This was back in 2005 with their album titled 'plans'.
This indie band turned pop will begin their tour in Oregon this Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and finish up in Osaka in mid August. There are bound to be a lot of fresh "Cutie" fans at the shows with the album doing so well at the tours start.
