LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Chi Cheng, the bassist for the Deftones has been left in a coma following a car accident in Santa Clara on Monday, the Sacramento Bee has reported.
When reached by phone, Chino Moreno, the band's frontman, confirmed the news but would not elaborate.
"I don't know everything that's going on — I just know it's very serious," Moreno said. "I'm on my way to be with his family, I'm pretty freaked out about it."
